P: seppo?

J: yeah, in australia it was slang for american, but it was kind of derogatory. at university it was said all in good fun, but some australians were floored that people actually used that word.

later, while watching the real world/road rules challenge, the vote is taking place and girl 1 says to girl 2: "us JAP-py girls need to stick together."

P: can you believe that? that's like calling you a "schloopy."

J: ...

J: a what?

P: a "schloopy."

J: ...
